These Terms & Conditions apply to services, sessions, events, workshops, courses and other offerings booked or purchased through this website.

By making a booking or purchase, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Laura of Love may offer services including:

• ThetaHealing® sessions
• ThetaHealing® training and courses
• Conscious Connected Breathwork

• Somatic movement and expression
• Ecstatic dance and movement experiences
• Workshops, group healing experiences and other wellbeing events
• Online and in person sessions

The exact content, duration, location and price of each offering will be shown on the relevant booking or event page.

Nature of the work

Laura of Love offers complementary wellbeing and personal development practices.

These experiences are intended to support personal exploration, emotional wellbeing, self connection and personal growth.

They are not medical treatment, psychotherapy or a replacement for medical, psychological, psychiatric or other appropriately qualified professional care.

No particular physical, emotional, spiritual, financial or personal outcome can be guaranteed.

You remain responsible for your own wellbeing, decisions and choices throughout and following any session, course or experience.

Health and participant responsibility

Some experiences, particularly Conscious Connected Breathwork, cacao, somatic practices and physical movement, may not be suitable for everyone.

You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information about any relevant health conditions, medications, pregnancy, injuries or other circumstances that may affect your participation.

Where a health or contraindication form is provided, you agree to complete it truthfully before participating.

If you are unsure whether an experience is appropriate for you, you should seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before participating.

Laura of Love may recommend that you do not participate in a particular practice where there is a concern about your safety or wellbeing.

Breathwork

Conscious Connected Breathwork can create physical, emotional and energetic experiences.

Certain health conditions may mean that full Conscious Connected Breathwork is not recommended.

Contraindications may include, but are not limited to:

• Pregnancy
• Cardiovascular conditions or uncontrolled high blood pressure
• Epilepsy or history of seizures
• Glaucoma or detached retina
• Recent surgery
• Significant recent physical injury
• Certain severe mental health conditions, including a history of psychosis

This list is not exhaustive.

Where appropriate, an alternative gentle breathing practice may be offered.

Participation is always voluntary and you may slow down, pause or stop at any time.

Ceremonial cacao

Some events include ceremonial cacao.

Ingredients and relevant allergen information will be shared where appropriate.

If you have allergies, sensitivities, are pregnant, take medication or have a health condition that may interact with cacao, you are responsible for seeking appropriate medical advice and informing Laura before participating.

You may always attend an experience without drinking cacao if the event format allows.

Movement and ecstatic dance

Movement experiences invite you to move in a way that feels appropriate for your individual body.

You remain responsible for your physical limits and are encouraged to modify or stop any movement that does not feel appropriate.

No particular movement, level of fitness or dance experience is required unless specifically stated.

1:1 session bookings

The price and duration of your session will be displayed before booking.

Please arrive or join online at the agreed time.

If you arrive late, the session may still need to end at the originally scheduled time.

Where possible, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel a 1:1 appointment.

For cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, the session fee may be retained or the session counted as used, except where otherwise required by applicable consumer law.

I understand that life happens, and exceptional circumstances may be considered individually.

Events and workshops

Tickets are valid for the particular event, date and time selected at booking.

Because places are limited and preparation is often based on participant numbers, event bookings are generally non refundable within 48 hours of the event, except where required by law.

If you can no longer attend, please contact Laura as early as possible.

Where appropriate, Laura may allow you to transfer your place to another person or move your booking to another date. This is subject to availability and is not guaranteed.

For services related to leisure activities taking place on a specific date or during a specific period, Spanish consumer legislation contains an exception to the usual statutory withdrawal right. 

Packages

Where you purchase a package of multiple sessions:

• The package is for the person who purchased it unless otherwise agreed
• Sessions should be used within 6 months of purchase for 5 session pages and 12 months for 10 sessions of purchase
• Unused sessions expire after this period unless otherwise agreed
• Individual sessions within a package cannot normally be exchanged for cash
• Any statutory consumer rights continue to apply

If you would like, I would personally use 12 months here rather than six.

Courses and ThetaHealing® training

Course dates, times, prerequisites, certification requirements, price and payment arrangements will be displayed on the relevant course page.

Where a deposit is required, your place is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

Unless otherwise stated, deposits are applied towards the total course price.

Any remaining balance must be paid by the date stated during booking.

If course materials, manuals or other resources are supplied, they are for the registered participant and may not be reproduced, distributed or resold without permission from the relevant copyright owner.

Certification may be subject to attendance and completion requirements established by ThetaHealing® or the relevant training body.

Deposits

Where an offering allows payment by deposit, the remaining balance must be paid by the deadline provided at booking.

If you choose not to proceed after reserving a place, deposits may be non refundable where this has been clearly communicated before purchase and where permitted by applicable consumer law.

Online services

You are responsible for having a suitable internet connection, device and private environment for online sessions and training.

Any Zoom or online access information is intended only for registered participants and should not be shared without permission.

Statutory withdrawal rights

For certain services purchased online, consumers may have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days.

Where you request that a service begins during this withdrawal period, you may be asked to expressly request early performance of the service and acknowledge the consequences for your withdrawal rights.

Once a service has been fully performed following the required consent and acknowledgement, the statutory right of withdrawal may no longer apply.

Certain services connected with leisure activities on a specific date or during a specific period are also exempt from the withdrawal right.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove rights you have under applicable consumer law. Spanish law provides a general 14 day withdrawal period for many distance service contracts while also setting out relevant exceptions. 

If Laura cancels

If Laura of Love needs to cancel an event, course or session, you will normally be offered either:

• A transfer to another suitable date
• A credit towards another offering
• A refund of the amount paid

Where a full refund is due, it will be returned through the appropriate payment method.

Laura of Love is not responsible for unrelated costs you may incur, such as travel or accommodation, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Changes to events

Occasionally it may be necessary to make reasonable changes to timings, venues, facilitators or elements of an experience.

Where a significant change affects your booking, you will be contacted as soon as reasonably possible.

Behaviour and respect

Laura of Love spaces are intended to feel respectful, supportive and safe for everyone attending.

Aggressive, discriminatory, abusive, sexually inappropriate or seriously disruptive behaviour will not be accepted.

Laura reserves the right to ask someone to leave an experience where their behaviour significantly affects the wellbeing or safety of others.

Photography and recordings

Photography, video or recordings of participants will not be used for promotional purposes without appropriate permission.

Where an event may be photographed or filmed, participants will be informed.

You are welcome to tell Laura if you do not wish to appear in photographs or video.

Confidentiality

Personal information shared within a 1:1 session will be treated respectfully and confidentially, subject to applicable legal obligations.

Participants in group spaces are asked to honour the privacy of others and not share another participant’s personal story outside the experience.

Laura cannot guarantee the behaviour of other participants and therefore cannot provide an absolute guarantee of confidentiality within a group environment.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, content created by Laura of Love, including written materials, exercises, course content, website copy, recordings and resources, remains the intellectual property of Laura of Love or the relevant rights holder.

Materials are provided for your personal use and may not be copied, reproduced, taught, sold or distributed without permission.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

To the extent permitted by law, Laura of Love is not responsible for indirect losses or losses arising from circumstances outside reasonable control.

Participation in wellbeing, breathwork and movement practices involves personal responsibility. You agree to listen to your body, communicate where necessary and stop participating if something does not feel appropriate for you.

Applicable law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in Spain, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections that may apply to you.

Changes to these terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time.

The version published on the website at the time of your booking will apply to your purchase unless applicable law requires otherwise.
